Our Story

My name is Jaime Brugueras and I grew up loving mathematics. In school, I struggled with most subjects except for math. I could see how to apply math to choosing the fastest line in the grocery store or finding the shortest route to deliver newspapers. Basically, I used math to optimize every job or chore I had to do.

It is no surprise that I found myself years later crunching data for big corporations. After a couple of years, I decided it was time to bring business intelligence to the masses. Email marketing went mainstream, but why were the Fortune 500 companies the only ones using data to their advantage?

To make BI accessible to all business, it needed to be intuitive and valuable. The first idea came from several customers and leads who kept telling us one word: alert! That's intuitive. In order to make Mineful really valuable it needed to take action and affect the bottom line. That's what Mineful is today.

Mineful helps businesses retain customers. It uses data to alert users of downward changes in purchasing patterns or satisfaction, and provides the communication tools needed to engage with customers likely to leave.

Our passion is not only about customer intelligence, but that students realize that mathematics is useful. We hope to use our business to bring this notion to schools, partner with education programs, and expose students to fun, useful, and real world problems. In hopes to inspire more kids to work in science and mathematics.
