Our Story
My name is Jaime Brugueras and I grew up loving mathematics. In school, I struggled with History, English, and other subjects except for math. I could see how it applied to choosing the fastest line in the grocery store, finding the shortest route to deliver newspapers, and making profit washing cars for neighbors. Basically, I used math to optimize every job or chore I had to do.
It is no surprise that I found myself years later crunching numbers and performing business intelligence for Corporate America. One thing I noticed was that the analyses were always inspired by a question from a VP (like "the Boss" on our homepage video). Answering the question took an IT team and group of analysts every time. I knew this process could be simplified and that is what Mineful has done.
Mineful is like a Data-Driven Yahoo! Answers. You go on our website, ask a question, follow some simple steps and voila' your fact-based answer is given to you. Once you have an answer, you can save it and continually monitor how it changes over time.
This is great for organizations that want to monitor and analyze their sales, customers, and marketing data but lack the resources to implement expensive business intelligence solutions.
Our passion is not only that businesses think optimal in every aspect, but that students realize that mathematics is useful. We hope to use our business to bring this notion to schools, partner with education programs, and expose students to fun, useful, and real world problems. In hopes to inspire more kids to work in science and mathematics.
