Frequency Distribution Analysis
This analysis computes frequencies and relative frequencies for online surveys and web forms. The frequencies are simply the number of respondents that selected a choice, while the relative frequencies are the percentage of respondents who completed the survey who selected the choice.
You can select the Survey or Form Distribution analysis if you want to compute frequencies for more than one question at a time. The Question Distribution and Field Distribution analysis compute frequencies for a single question or field only. The output for each question type varies slightly. Below is a summary:
- Multiple Choice: frequency for each choice
- Numeric: outputs the top 5 frequencies (for numeric fields, the Histogram Analysis is recommended)
- Text: outputs the top 5 frequencies
- Comment Boxes: there is no output
