Weighted frequencies compute a weighted sum of the responses of a multiple-choice question and divides the total for each category by the total sum of the weights. In the end, your chart displays weighted percentages that add up to 100, but take into account the weights you assign. The analysis allows you to select 1) a question to compute the frequency and 2) the question to use for the weights. Note that if your choice weights are as default, then this analysis will give you the same result as the Frequency Distribution Analysis.
