Displaying with the Scrollable List

This display is especially beneficial when the list is very long. In a small space, one can use this component to add choices from left to right. Using the +ctrl key, the respondent can select more than one choice at a time and when clicks on the Add button, all choices selected appear on the left hand side.

The 'Other' option

This option allows respondents to have a write-in option, and specify in a text box their own value. You can use this option in multiple choice single answer and multiple answer (checkbox) questions.

On the Question Wizard, simply scroll down to the Other check box. Check this box if you want to include an 'Other' option. Use the textbox next to it to write in the text you want, like 'Other, please specify'. By default (if left in blank), the survey shows 'Other'.

If you also selected to randomize choices, the 'Other' option is always the last option (at the bottom on a vertical display).
