Jaime Brugueras, Ph.D. Statistics

Dr. Brugueras is a statistician, mathematician, and survey researcher by trade and a co-founder of Mineful. Jaime graduated from the University of Illinois with a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research in 2005. Many prestigious organizations have come to Jaime for his statistical skills. Dr. Brugueras has learned a great deal about marketing analytics through his work performing research for top-level enterprise companies including the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Allstate Insurance, Starcom, MediaBank, McDonald’s, and MasterCard.

Jose Rubio – Software Architect

Prior to starting Numbers Insight, Jose worked as a manager at a large healthcare organization where he lead a team in charge of developing and supporting the systems that handle information exchange between health plans, clearing houses, and providers. He was also key in architecting a claim pricing engine capable of processing over 600,000 transactions a day. He has also worked in places like Stellent (now part of Oracle) and Motorola where he designed and developed mission critical system used in public safety.

Jaime earned a bachelors in Mathematics, a masters in Applied Mathematics, and a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research. The Bureau of Labor Statistics, Allstate Insurance, Starcom Worldwide and others have relied on his statistical, data manipulation, and reporting skills. Jaime's passion for data goes far beyond marketing into sports, finance, and politics. If only data analysis could help improve his struggling golf game and discordant guitar play!



Jose Rubio, COO

Mr. Practical (Available 24 x 7)

Jose majored in Computer Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico. He worked at Motorola, Stellent, and Health Care Service Corporation before founding Mineful with Dr. Data. He can remodel a bathroom or kitchen almost as good as writing complex Java code. Jose plays a lot of volleyball and once played for the Junior National Team of Puerto Rico.
