Creating Online Forms

In this video, you will learn how easy it is to create online forms. After logging into Mineful, click on the Forms icon which opens up a window with all the form categories you have created. We’ll click on "New" in the top menu to create a new online form and give the form a name, description, and category. We will create an online form from scratch, but note that you can create a form from a previously created one.

You are now brought to the Form Editor where you can drag and drop data fields, and choose general form options. There is a wide range of data fields to choose from including open-end questions, multiple-choice, and file uploads. We’ll drag and drop a text field from the right hand side panel to get started.

Enter your question in the field text, keep in mind that you can include html style tags to change font types, sizes, and colors. You can repeat this process as many times as you like.

For easier viewing, you can close the left or right side panels.

You can drag fields to arrange the order. You can start filling up your form right away by clicking the Fill Out Button. Click save and notice the message telling you that the entry has been successfully saved.

The Design Form button lets you go back to editing your form. When you are ready to Publish your form and collect responses, click on the Publish link to set up links or place the form on your site. See our “Sending Surveys and Forms” video for details on sending a forms.

At the top page, there is the form "Options". These options allow you to change background colors, add your logo, and more. See the Sending Surveys and Forms video for more details.
